Jonzi D Productions’ regular showcase of the freshest freestyle hip hop theatre and rap, dance, poetry and beats created in the Hip Hop Theatre Lab.

Hosted by Jonzi D, The Surgery is a platform for a range of new Hip Hop theatre pieces and after each one the audience has a chance to comment and share views directly with the artists on stage.  This special Surgery features three extraordinary South African emcees showcasing their unique, dynamic style – Gini Grindith, Hymphatic Thabs and Krook’d the Warmonger.

 

If you're an emcee, dancer, poet, actor or DJ looking to share your skills and create new work, the Hip Hop Lab is for you and it's FREE. It’s a series of seven evening workshops with Jonzi D and gives artists a chance to collaborate and share ideas.  The South African emcees will also be part of the Lab, so don’t miss you chance.  To be considered for the Lab, simply email a short description of your work and experience to labs@jonzi-d.co.uk.
