Former members of Dire Straits return to Deptford to perform the band's greatest hits in a special homecoming gig as part of our 30th birthday celebrations.
The Straits - former Dire Straits members Alan Clark and Chris White plus world class musicians Steve Ferrone, Terence Reis, Adam Phillips, Mick Feat and Jamie Squire – return to SE8 for a special homecoming gig with their greatest hits Sultans of Swing, Money for Nothing, Romeo & Juliet, Brothers in Arms and more.
Dire Straits played their first ever gig in Deptford in 1977 (a blue plaque now marks the spot). Having last played the Albany in the 80s before global success, this will be a rare chance to see them back where it all began as part of the Albany's 30th birthday celebrations.
