Bring the Happy
Bring the Happy is an ongoing project about happiness taking place at the Albany and at Deptford Lounge. Invisible Flock will attempt to map moments and memories of happiness in Deptford and across the country. In collaboration with Hope & Social, these memories will be transformed into a live performance which promises to be an interactive, intimate and highly moving evening.
Wanted: Curious people, artists, actors, musicians, creatives and those with a story to tell who are from the Post Soviet States and based in London.
Come and take part in a new theatre project.
A Cure for Ageing
A piece about being young and foolish, and becoming old and wise. Or about being young and wise, and becoming old and foolish. It asks how we can talk more honestly about ageing, drawing together true personal accounts and shameless speculation in a celebration of life and an attempt to fall in love with our own decline.
Hugless Douglas is a huggable, lovable young brown bear who wakes up one morning in need of a hug.
He tries to find the perfect one, but none of them seem quite right. After all, there are so many different hugs to choose from.
But Douglas soon discovers that there’s only one hug that will do - a big bear hug from his mum!
Belly Dancing Workshop
Lebanese born Maria Louisa hosts her 2 hour workshops at the Albany. The groups are designed for ladies of all ages from beginners to experts with the focus on fun and fitness in true Middle Eastern style!
