This incredibly flexible theatre is equipped with the latest theatre technology and is able to seat between 200 and 500 people depending on whether you require a café-style theatre space or the more traditional end-on staging.

With cabaret style seating and an internally situated bar, The Albany Theatre creates a welcoming, relaxed and openly accessible atmosphere for everyone to enjoy.

Plus our excellent kitchen can provide catering for everything from buffets to three course meals and of course tea, coffee and biscuits.

If you would like to hire the theatre, please read all the relevant documents in our downloads section. You can complete and return the theatre hire form via email hires@thealbany.org.uk post or by fax. Please don’t forget to sign and date the form.

We then see whether we can accommodate your hire. We host two kinds of event in the theatre: programmed events (which we instigate) and hired events (which come as external requests – like yours). We arrange the programmed events before the season starts and attempt to fit hired events around these. If we can accommodate your booking, we will get back to you with an initial quote.

We will then organise a production meeting, where you will have the opportunity to talk through the finer points of your hire with our technical team.

Following this we will be able to provide you with a final quote.

Finally, once you have approved this final quote, then we will issue you with a contract.
