Pizza and Pitches is BACK!
And we're handing creative control over to our community.
Our audiences, collaborators, friends and neighbours to decide who wins on Thursday 7 May 2026.
Five pitches will be available to watch on our website, and you can either vote online or by popping in to our in-person event (free snacks guaranteed – maybe even pizza.. 🍕)
This year’s theme, Roots and Futures, invites ideas that explore the connection between where we come from and where we’re going. We’re interested in projects that honour lived experience, cultural memory and shared histories, while imagining what comes next for our locals and the communities who call it home.
How does it work?
The final five ideas will be chosen by a panel made up of Albany members ranging from our Young Creatives, members of Meet Me at the Albany, and staff. The shortlisted projects will have the opportunity to pitch their ideas live and the audience will vote for the winner!
