What you'll learn

Graffiti Culture & History

Explore the roots of graffiti, street art legends, and the role of public art in youth culture and activism.

Sketching & Lettering

Learn how to develop your tag, experiment with lettering styles, and create a graffiti “blackbook” of your designs.

Spray Can Techniques

Master can control, fades, outlines, stencils, and fill-ins using a variety of nozzles and spray tips.

Character & Background Design

Go beyond lettering by adding characters, symbols, and dynamic backgrounds to your work.

Wall Mural Collaboration

Work with others on a large-scale piece. Plan, prep, and paint a collaborative wall mural in a legal space.
