The gender data gap is killing us and our loved ones: Women are 47% more likely to be seriously injured, 74% more likely to be moderately injured – and 17% more likely to die in a car accident – turns out there are no female crash test dummies!
Over one day of science-theatre mash-up, help us turn these factoids of everyday sexism into a storytelling-cabaret to smash ‘reference man’* off the stage.
We will write songs, dance burlesque, tell jokes and finish with a short scratch performance and Q & A all in a day.
*‘reference man’ – a Caucasian male aged 25-30 weighing 70kg, used for crash test dummies (if this ain’t you, you ain’t safe).
