12pm – 1pm- Parents meeting for anyone auditioning

1pm – 2pm- Hip Hop Theatre show cast auditions (anyone in School Year 6 – Year 13 from the new school year in September)

2pm – 3pm- Performance Troupe auditions (anyone in School Year 7 – Year 13 from the new school year in September)

Hip Hop Theatre Show Cast

We are looking for dancers to be part of a show company that will be working towards a professional standard hip hop narrative show, which will premiere at the Albany in March 2019. Please be aware that dancers will be required to commit a 100% to rehearsals and be totally dedicated to their role as part of the show cast.

If your child is successful in the audition and you would like to accept the place in the show cast your child will require:

  • a costume to perform in the show (The Albany will subsidise the cost of this, but will ask you to pay up to £20 of the cost)
  • a Love2Dance T-shirt (£8)
  • Love2Dance jogging bottoms (£13.99)

Performance Troupe Audition

We are looking for dancers to be part of the Love2Dance Performance Troupe. The Troupe rehearses weekly at TNG Youth Centre, TNG Youth Centre, 111 Wells Park Road, SE26 6AD (Sydenham) and performs at several events, including competitions, across the year.

Please be aware that the Performance Troupe dancers are required to be committed and dedicated to attending all their rehearsals and performances.

If your child is successful in the audition and you would like to accept a place in the performance troupe your child will require:

  • a Love2Dance T-shirt (£8)
  • Love2Dance jogging bottoms (£13.99)
  • There is a £10 fee per term for your child to be a part of the Love2Dance Performance Troupe.

Parent meeting for anyone attending a Love2Dance audition

Love2Dance will be holding a Parent/Guardian meeting prior to the auditions at the Albany 12-1pm Saturday 1 September. We welcome any child that wants to audition, but we are looking for individuals who can pick up moves quickly and is dedicated.

There is no need to prepare anything for the auditions as all children will be taught some choreography and be given tasks to solve on the day.
