We are looking for five young people aged 18-25 based in the borough of Lewisham who have an idea for a music project or event that they would like to put on.
This programme offers:
- 8 week course in Music Event Producing, with guest artists and professionals in the industry. Thursday 5 May – Thursday 30 June.
- Budget to run your own Music event or project in 2022 (This could be a gig, a workshop, an installation or anything).
- Mentoring sessions with an expert in your chosen area.
- Being part of a panel selecting artists for the Revolution through Music programme.
- Fortnightly creative programming meetings.
- Paid work – 15 days to put on your event at London Living Wage, plus £50 per selection panel.
- Travel and childcare covered.
We are looking for fresh new ideas from a diversity of people. You do not have to be a musician to apply but have an interest in putting on a music project. We encourage applications from people who are working class and wouldn’t have the means or network to put on events like this otherwise.
