Following acclaimed shows WOW EVERYTHING IS AMAZING and Fire In The Machine, celebrated youth theatre SOUNDS LiKE CHAOS are looking for performers aged 13 – 19 to join the company and devise a new show. This is an exciting opportunity to perform with one of the countries leading youth theatres and gain professional skills and experience.
We are looking to cast 3 – 6 exceptional young people to join the company. You do not need to have professional stage experience, you just need to show enthusiasm and commitment.
Open auditions will take place at the Albany on Tuesday 29 October from 6.30pm – 8pm. Click here to sign up to attend the open auditions. Applications for open auditions will close at midday on Saturday 26 October.
Weekly rehearsals will take place at the Albany every Tuesday from 5.30pm – 8pm from October to March, with performances in April 2020. There will be some additional rehearsal days during February half term.
We are looking for young people who are:
· Aged 13 – 19 with a strong interest in performing
· Comfortable with basic movement
· An open-minded, team player with a desire to be creative and share your ideas as part of a company
· Excited about music – this can include writing songs, singing, playing an instrument, music production, beatboxing and rapping or just a willingness to learn
· Able to commit to rehearsals and performance dates in April 2020
