Imagine a circular theatre space with 25 poets, singers and rappers surrounding a live band. Each person has a microphone and can contribute at any moment.
For the last 12 months we’ve been imagining it too. Since winning the Albany’s Pizza and Pitches event last year, the Imaginary Millions team have been working with the Albany to realise this event. Twice now, we’ve been foiled by the turbulence that we’ve all experienced but this third time – we’ll be made rich.
The event will also mark a momentous moment in Imaginary Millions history, as the captain Rob Major is leaving London after starting the monthly night 3 years ago. Joining in this moment will include:
Repeat Beat Poet
We look forward to creating an intimate vibe together with the different communities present – Imaginary Millions artists, Young Leaders, School Ground Sounds and other SE London creatives – we’ll use the space to celebrate, mourn, and honour the time that we’re living in.
As always, we’ll have with us a live band (featuring Remi Graves, Vicky O’Neon and Isobella Burnham) with a talented roster of artists stepping up to take the (thoroughly sanitised) mic. And although we can’t welcome an audience in-person, we can’t wait to have you through our virtual doors and ask the continual question: “What’s Possible From Here?”
Booking info: When booking you’ll receive an e-ticket with details of how to join the live stream. Bookers can also access the stream via the link on the right of the page.
