Respira-Trees is an environmental art intervention that uses bespoke portable sensors to make invisible air pollution visible, with the potential to make trees glow as air pollution levels change.

This walk will highlight remarkable trees and distinct aspects of urban spaces. With the assistance of an arboriculturalist and creators of Respira-Trees, participants will get to know the technological intricacies of processing real-time data to measure air pollution in different locations.

The walk will open conversations about the relationships between transport choices, air pollution, and health effects, encouraging greater eco-responsibility and promoting environmental improvements in Lewisham and beyond.
