The event will be raising funds for the Marsha Phoenix Memorial Trust, a supported housing project which provides hostel accommodation for young women. They operate in the borough of Lewisham and have their main hostel in Brockley, and two second-stage shared flats in New Cross. Their mission is to give young women a secure base from which to develop self-respect, independence, and purpose. It was founded by Sybil Phoenix OBE MBE, MS in 1979 who will be celebrating her 94th birthday on Make Music Day!
