After a long pandemic-induced hiatus Deptford Cinema is back with an open air screening of Marvel’s Black Panther (2018) in the Albany Garden.
After the death of his father and King, T’Challa, the Black Panther returns home to the secretive and technologically advanced African nation of Wakanda to be crowned. His reign is tested when actions from his father’s past return to challenge the throne and the ideals of Wakanda itself…
Black Panther, the 18th film from Marvel Studios expands the Marvel Cinematic Universe with a mainstream Afrofuturist vision of the fictional nation of Wakanda. Directed by Ryan Coogler of Creed and Fruitvale Station fame, Black Panther stars the late Chadwick Boseman in the title role surrounded by a feast of incredible supporting cast and some of the best production and costume design around in this science fiction comic book behemoth!
Please note spaces are limited and admittance is on a first come first served basis. This event will be taking place in the Albany Garden so please dress appropriately for the weather. Doors officially open at 6pm.
Age rating is 12a, children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
