Due to today’s weather forecast, Make Music Day 2021 with City of London Sinfonia will be taking place inside at the Albany Café. Alternatively you can access the live stream below.
Following their collaboration with Come ‘n’ Grow last year, City of London Sinfonia musicians return to continue their exploration of music relating to nature and animals in this summer edition of Comfortable Classical in the Albany Garden. You’ll hear music about birds, such as Birds of Paradise (Moondog) and Song of the Penguins (Haywood), folk tunes and improvisation, and you’ll also be able to sing along and interact with the musicians.
Comfortable Classical concerts invite anyone and everyone, from young children to older adults, to experience orchestral music. These concerts are more relaxed than traditional classical concerts and feature introductions from the musicians, as well as inspiring performances of classical music. Our audience members are also encouraged to draw and colour while they listen to the music.
