The Albany Garden is a space for the whole community to enjoy, with a range of free clubs and activities providing opportunities to get active, learn about food growing and healthy eating and make new friends.
As well as being a space to discover how to grow your own veg, develop valuable gardening skills and enjoy the benefits of being outdoors, we also use a lot of the produce we grow in the Albany café – reducing food waste and miles as well as helping us to serve up some of the freshest food in Deptford!
The Albany Garden is a really special place. It’s made me feel more at home in an often isolating city, enjoying simple pleasures with others, and giving me the opportunity to get my hands dirty and connect to green and growing things when I’m sick of all the grey and concrete around me.
