The Albany is unable to accept any liability for personal damages, losses or injuries sustained during an event – including damage and loss of property, if the cause is due to the negligence of the ticket holder or the unforeseeable actions of other patrons.

The following items may not be brought into the venue: alcohol, drinks, food, bottles, cans, illegal substances, portable laser equipment and pens and any other potentially dangerous or illegal items, unauthorised film or photography equipment and audio recorders. All items will be confiscated.

You may be body searched at the entrance. Any items that may reasonably be considered a weapon may be confiscated.

Persons suspected of carrying items which may be used in an offensive or dangerous manner, or carrying out illegal activities within the venue may be searched.

We are happy to re-sell any tickets for sold out performances, providing the originals have been returned. This will be at the discretion of management and any tickets that have been re-sold will be credited back to the customer’s online booking account.

Gift Aid

By ticking 'Gift Aid' when donating to the Albany, you are confirming that you are a UK tax payer and would like us to reclaim the tax you have paid on all your donations to us in the last four years, and on any future donations you make. You are confirming that you have paid or will pay an amount of Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax for the current tax year (6 April to 5 April) that is at least equal to the amount of tax that all the charities and Community Amateur Sports Clubs (CASCs) that you donate to will reclaim on your gifts for the current tax year. You understand that other taxes such as VAT and Council Tax do not qualify. You understand the Albany will reclaim 25p of tax on every £1 that you have given. You can cancel this declaration at any time by notifying the Albany. If in the future your circumstances change and you no longer pay tax as above, you can cancel your declaration. If you pay at the higher tax rate you can claim further tax relief in your Self-Assessment tax return.
