£1 tickets at our Deptford Market Stall

On Saturday, 7 February 2026, we’ll be setting up a stall in our foyer offering £1 tickets to our upcoming events. 

We strive to keep ticket prices for all our events affordable, but we understand that they can still be a barrier for some people. We wanted to tell you about some of the ways you can access free or cheaper tickets to our theatre, comedy, music and family events.

We’ve been putting on our best market trader voices twice a year, usually in January and September, for over a decade. Our next £1 ticket stall will be held on Saturday 7 February 2026. This time, we'll be sheltering from another weekend of rain inside our foyer from 10am-3pm. We usually have between 5 and 10 £1 tickets on offer for each event (with some exceptions), and we will be giving them away first come, first served, until we run out. Last year, we gave away 345 tickets for just £1.

We are also very proud of our partnership with Tickets for Good, an organisation who give away free and discounted tickets for the NHS, teachers, charity sector workers and cost of living payment recipients. Last year, we gave away 270 free tickets via Tickets for Good. If you think you might be eligible, you can sign up here and book tickets directly through their website.

Lots of our events are free or Pay-What-You-Decide, meaning you choose how much to pay for your ticket, based on how much you think the event is worth. Some of our regular events, like the Roller Disco at Deptford Lounge, are Pay-What-You-Decide, and we run free jazz concerts in our café on the first Saturday of every month (so why don't you stick around after bagging your £1 tickets this Saturday?)
