About the project

CAYA is for any young person in the local area who wants somewhere to hang out, study, get creative and make connections.

As well as games, table tennis and free, delicious home cooked food, every week we offer opportunities to develop your ideas and learn new creative skills, from music, to dance, drama, creative writing, and more.

Our friendly mentors are on hand to welcome you, lend an ear and encourage a safe space for you to thrive. We even have an in-house Youth Mental Wellbeing and Mentoring Service - Rise Up.

Sign up to be a member

To take part in our activities you’ll need to sign up by filling in the membership and consent form, or if you’re under 16 your parent or guardian will need to fill it out for you.

We offer a one-week trial where you can explore the space without registering. After that, you will need to register so that we can keep everyone safe.

You can drop in any time between 3.30 and 8pm, and come and go as you please, however once you leave the space we’re no longer responsible for your supervision. Parents and guardians can read our Safeguarding Policy here.

Feedback

I’ve had my mind on a lot of things that I’ve had to experience in my life and when I’m at the Albany it’s fun and welcoming community. I cherish spending time here my friends.
