These creative workshops are delivered by experts in their fields and aim to introduce different creative skills to young people, to inspire, create, and learn.
From creative writing to DJing and presenting, tap into your creativity and learn more about the different jobs in the creative industries. All our workshops are delivered by experienced facilitators, recruited and trained through our Young Creative Lewisham scheme.

About the workshops
Creative Writing and Language Invention
Tuesdays 15, 22 and 29 September 2026
Play with words, colours, sounds, lyrics, and stories in these workshops led by Amelie. Explore meanings. invent words, experiment, create your own language. It is through language we have humour, memories, relationships, sciences, literature. Since it is ours… we should do what we like with it, and use it to create and play, explore and learn, and see for ourselves what our brains are capable of.
Scripting
Tuesdays 3, 10 and 17 November 2026
Ever fancied writing for film, tv or theatre? Gain a practical understanding of scriptwriting, engaging with acting, improvisation, and instinct to write pages that are made to come to life. With a focus on dialogue, narrative structure and play, these workshops, led by Ella, will give you the space to develop ideas and craft stories that suit you. No matter your previous experience, there’s room to grow!

Join Monique to learn how to beat match, EQ, cueing, mixing and how to build set lists, using pro equipment in three supportive sessions designed for all skill levels.
Xpress Yourself – Grow confidence through presenting

Build your confidence and discover your presenting style in these interactive workshops led by James. Explore the differences between radio, social media, and on-camera presenting through practical activities, challenges and hands-on experience. Develop your voice and learn new skills.
