About the event
We welcome you to join our social meet-ups by and for sanctuary seekers (asylum seekers, refugees and migrants) and allies to build more community in Lewisham.
Join us for a workshop focusing on themes of gardening, food, tea making, art and culture, followed by a free lunch provided by our café! Adults and families are welcome.

This is a free event - you don't need to book a ticket and can just turn up the day. If it's very busy, we will operate on a first come, first served basis.
About our Community Council
This event was commissioned by our Community Council.
Our Community Council work collaboratively with us to help shape the future of our programme and activities. Each council member has a strong connection to Deptford and Lewisham, and they meet with us six times per year to share their thoughts, opinions and ideas on everything we do.
The Community Council have a pot of money they can use to make direct decisions about the events they want to see at the Albany.
