About the event
Meet the artists confronting gender-based violence and celebrating resilience and collective care at the opening of Windows into the Unseen.
Join us for the opening of Windows into the Unseen, SHEROES Collective’s first public library exhibition, a month-long transformation of Deptford Lounge’s windows and public-facing spaces, marking 25 November (International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women) and the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence. This exhibition brings together 16 women activist artists whose installations and window interventions confront hidden and normalised forms of violence against women and girls, while also amplifying stories of resilience, survival, and collective care. Come see the work, meet the artists, and be part of the conversation as we turn a public library into a space of visibility, reflection, and dialogue!
