Youth and Family Fund

From mental health support to music, we are an incubator for the talent and ideas that germinate here on our doorstep.

A young woman energetically dances on stage as part of an ensemble, all are wearing a green "Love2Dance" shirt. She's smiling, with arms outstretched, conveying joy and enthusiasm.

About this fund

Each year we support young people aged 5-25 to access a varied programme of drama, music, dance, digital and gardening.

Our weekly youth takeovers offer a safe space for young people to spend time and explore their creativity away from home or school; and our REZON8 music project explores the positive impact music and lyricism can have on mental health and wellbeing.

We have a regular programme of low-cost and free activities for families, from high quality shows in our theatre to opportunities to get outdoors in our garden. We offer £1 tickets for all our family events, reduced rates for local schools, and free tickets via our partners Tickets for Good.

1053

In 2024, we were proud to provide 1053 hours of employment

to young creatives.

Feedback

It’s awesome to have access to people who aren’t teachers or parents –they’re older but there’s no power dynamic there. It’s really inclusive. We all just want the same outcome, not working for each other but with each other.
