Open and Free Spaces
Although not hirable, both the Albany and Deptford Lounge have open communal spaces for anyone wanting to grab a bite to eat in our café or a place to wait in the foyer before joining their meeting. Why not explore our community garden on a lunch break and sit in the sun?
Food and Beverage
We have a fully equipped on-site kitchen and catering staff, which can prepare a full range of catering options for your hire. This includes our Lewisham Local Menu with all produce supplied locally and made fresh on site that day. We can also offer bespoke menus, drinks receptions or catering to perfectly suit your hire. You’re welcome to grab lunch from our onsite café and enjoy a range of toasties and sweet treats. Any catering requests need to be made at least 2 weeks before your room hire date.
AV and Room Facilities
We can offer flipcharts, projectors, mobile TV and where possible, a mobile PA system. The Main Hall also includes lighting, LED, staging and a projector but must be booked in advance. All rooms have access to WIFI with good speeds.

Technical and Front of House Support
If you’re booking us for an event, conference or theatre production, we provide an experienced in-house technician to support your needs. From lighting design to sound mixing, let us know what you want and we can arrange. We support all performance hire with our enthusiastic and professional front of house team Leave it to us! We can fully handle your ticketing and box office for your performance via our website and front of house. We can even sell your programmes for you and support ticket sales at our box office open 5 days a week. We deduct 13.5% + VAT from final box office ticket sales for this service.
Filming and Streaming
Our spaces are also ideal for use for filming hires, as recorded studio audience, shooting locations or spaces for filmed interviews and documentaries. If you would like to discuss the possibility of using an Albany space for your filming project, please get in touch and we can discuss options and costs further.
We can also offer the option to film or stream your performance or event, using either the Albany’s own in-house streaming set up or your own equipment and crew if preferred.
The Albany website can host ticketed streamed performances, which will be ticketed via the Albany box office. It is also possible to stream to social media channels. In all circumstances, the hirer will need to provide a dedicated individual to handle artistic direction of the stream. We can recommend a preferred supplier if needed.
