South-East London’s longest-running free outdoor festival is back after a hiatus, and we’re excited to be involved.

The Albany have programmed the Climate Conversations area – an area filled with workshops, performances and installations created in response to Climate activism & social justice. Through a series of visual and interactive art, local callouts and highlights from the Climate commissions strand, alongside a dedicated stage space for discourse, Climate Conversations’ ambition is to find new and innovative ways to create dialogue around social activism and the Climate crisis for and by the residents of Lewisham.

There will be performances, installations and workshops happening throughout the afternoon. Climb aboard the Hell Bus, get cycling to provide power for the Growmobile, discover your flower power as you design and make your own growable cardboard wig, and watch as Teatro Vivo unveil their Manifesto.

We’ll also be showcasing the talent of our young creatives with performances from Love2Dance and REZON8.

Come and say hello to us in the We Are Lewisham tent (in the yellow zone) where we’ll be chatting all things London Borough of Culture and selling plants and herbs from our garden.
