He’s also a member of acclaimed poetry collective Chill Pill, who have made the Albany their home since 2011. Simon’s second full length show No More Worries rehearsed and had a two week run at the Albany as part of its 2015 UK tour.

Simon is an experienced facilitator with over 10 years’ experience working with rap and poetry in community and education settings, including projects with Great Ormond Street Hospital, Arsenal FC, and Meet Me at the Albany.

Since becoming a father Simon has written increasingly for young people; his first play for children and families Friends For All was commissioned by the V&A, and funded by Arts Council England to tour nationally. His next kids show is a collaboration with musician Gecko, and has the working title of Mole & Gecko: an interactive rap musical spectacular. It is being supported by the Albany – see our shows and events section for performance dates in Spring 2019.

Simon’s first book for children (a collaboration with illustrator Oamul Lu) is forthcoming on Quarto/Frances Lincoln.
