REZON8 was created in 2019 by Kieron Morris, who was just 16 years old at the time. Surrounded by talented creatives, Kieron recognised the need to bring people together, creating one space where collaboration, opportunity, and growth could thrive.

Initially, REZON8 focused on managing artists and providing them with opportunities within the music industry. Alongside this, Kieron began offering free recording sessions to young people, believing in the importance of making creative spaces accessible.

As the community began to grow, we conducted a survey to better understand the needs of the young people who were engaging with the project. The results were eye-opening: nearly 50% of participants had been diagnosed with a mental health condition, and over 90% reported struggling with their mental health without a formal diagnosis. Even more surprising, over 95% said they would use REZON8 as a space to benefit their mental health through music.

At REZON8, we understand that mental health is too often overlooked or misunderstood in the communities we work with. That’s why the spaces we create go beyond just making music. They offer young people a safe environment to talk about and explore their mental health, share their experiences, and express how they’ve navigated those challenges through the powerful medium of music.
