This intensive FREE week-long programme focuses on honing communication skills, through creative activities, and expert-guided sessions. Facilitators and guest speakers will share their insights, as participants gain and practise valuable skills aligned with the Cambridge oracy framework .
Tailored for the unique needs of young minds, the week will end with a performance, allowing students to showcase their newfound confidence and skills. Speaking Up is an opportunity to empower the next generation of articulate and confident leaders.
The course will run from Tuesday 2 April – Friday 5 April 2024, 10am – 2pm.
This course is designed for young people who are:
– Interested in drama or performing arts
– Receive free school meals
– and/or struggle with confidence, communication or maintaining friendships.
