That’s right. Go back in the day to a school disco – but this time, it’s very queer and very accessible.

Come along for a night of dancing, singing, celebrating and being your full fantastic self. The incredible Rosie Jones will host alongside some very special guests!

Prom is brought to you by Every Body Queer, a community initiative for and by queer disabled people, where access and inclusion are the number one priority. Allies are welcome if they are with you – bring your mates and dates!

The Albany is step free, has two accessible toilets and has a quiet room and outside space. You can find out more about accessibility at our venue here.

  • The theatre has level access, ample seating and a ventilation system to ensure comfort for all visitors
  • Protective face masks and ear defenders will be available on request
  • A BSL interpreter will interpret Rosie Jones’ hosting
  • Stim toys will be available
  • Music will be on but the volume can be adjusted and there won’t be any flashing lights
  • Free companion tickets are available; please let us know if you require this when you check out and someone will be in touch to book them in for you.

Host: Rosie Jones

Rosie Jones has quickly made a household name for herself but is still striving for national treasure status. She’s the star of Out of Order, hosted Channel 4’s hard-hitting documentary Am I A R*tard, and fronted comedy travel series Mission: Accessible and BAFTA-nominated Trip Hazard. As an actor, Rosie has appeared in Silent WitnessCasualty, and Call the Midwife, proving her versatility across both drama and comedy.

Her TV credits include Taskmaster, Live at the Apollo, The Jonathan Ross Show, The Royal Variety Performance, QI, 8 Out of 10 Cats, Cats Does Countdown, The Last Leg, Joe Lycett’s Got Your Back, Mock the Week, and The Ranganation, alongside writing for Netflix’s Sex Education and starring in her own Channel 4 Comedy Blap Disability Benefits which will return as a full series in the near future.

Dykes on Mics

Dykes on Mics is London’s loudest, proudest sapphic singalong! They’re a joyful karaoke party for dykes, lesbians and sapphic queers of all genders and sexualities – celebrating all voices! Come to sing onstage, sing along from the floor, or just vibe in our community party space.

Undressing Disability

Undressing Disability is a campaign that aims to raise standards and awareness in sexual health for disabled people. It also shares expert advice, resources, training and education while running campaigns on sex, love and relationships. Previous campaigns have highlighted inaccessible smear testing, loneliness and dating for disabled people.

The team also run free Love Lounge sessions which provide support and information for people who need a friendly face-to-face chat or want anonymous advice. There is also an Undressing Disability podcast, events and now a new range of accessible sex toys called Quest developed with leading sex toy developers, Rocks Off.

Come by their table in the CaffA to pick up free shag packs, condoms and lube. They will also be on hand if anyone wants to learn more about the Love Lounge sessions or needs someone to talk to if someone is feeling overwhelmed. They will also be selling Limited Edition tote bags if anyone wants to buy one to support the charity.
