Our Advanced Tech Course will be a deep dive into Full Stack programming, DevOps and Cloud Engineering, led by expert instructors with years of experience in their respective fields. There will be three introductory taster sessions followed by a week-long intensive course from 3 – 7 June.

This course is designed for anyone who has a basic understanding of web development including HTML, CSS and JavaScript, including those who have taken our Creative Coding Collective course.

Participants will be able to choose a focus for the intensive week based on their interests and experience. The streams are:

Full stack programming mastery: Dive into the world of web development and learn how to build dynamic, responsive websites and applications from scratch using HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript, and bring your server-side expertise to the forefront with Node.js. This comprehensive programming foundation is essential for anyone looking to excel in the tech industry.

DevOps essentials: DevOps is a method of organising people and the work they do in technology projects so that software can be developed, tested and used more quickly and with better quality. Master these tools to enhance your efficiency in building, deploying, and managing containerized applications, crucial for modern cloud infrastructures.

Business Analysis Agile Scrum Practices: Align technology projects with business objectives effectively. Our module on business analysis integrated with Agile Scrum practices provides the skills needed to manage projects in today’s fast-paced, iterative work environments. Learn to define project scopes, develop sprint plans, and lead cross-functional teams to success.

As well as these technical skills, the course will also introduce you to industry leaders and recruiting managers, and support you with crafting your CV and LinkedIn profile, preparing for interviews and looking for jobs in the industry.
