Lewisham Homes and the Albany are proud to launch the third intake of the Creative Coding Collective. The Collective is a FREE twelve-session programme for young people aged 16-21. You will be trained in universal coding languages, supported and mentored, and at the end of the programme you will have the opportunity of a paid job placement.
You can come find out more about the collective from past graduates and take part in a taster session at the Launch Event on Wednesday 15th September, 6.30-8pm. Please book your ticket here.
This programme is an exciting route into a creative and well paid job. You don’t need to have good grades from school to succeed in coding. We’re looking for enthusiastic and curious people willing to try something new, and who will make the most of this fantastic opportunity.
Applications are now open to young people in the borough of Lewisham, with the programme commencing in October. The deadline for submitting applications is 10am on Saturday 18th September. We will get in touch with all applicants in late September.
Want to receive hands-on and interactive training in universal coding languages? Want to find a way to make good money? Want to help shape the future of technology? This programme is for you.
Join our collective to:
- Take part in a FREE 12 session coding project (Wednesday & Thursday evenings, 6-8pm)
- Work collaboratively in digital design
- Opportunity of a paid role as a trainee in a tech company
- Have 1:1 support to build your skills and networks
*Applicants must be Lewisham residents and be aged 16 – 21. Priority will be given to applicants aged 18+ who are currently unemployed, on Universal Credit, or at risk of exclusion.
