To be able to book a subsidised space, you need to complete the following two steps:

All spaces are bookable in 8-hour time slots. Select your room at the point of booking, subject to availability. By making a booking you are accepting the terms & conditions of use.

Please note that these spaces will not have any technical facilities or support available. If you require this for your rehearsal please keep an eye out for future opportunities.

FAQs:

How do I book?

In order to access these spaces you must submit a support request and have confirmation from the Albany that your request has been approved.

You must also have an active Creative Communities Membership in order to book the space. Don’t have one yet? Sign up now!

Why do I have to submit a support request?

We need to make sure your request fits within the spaces we can provide, and we want to make sure we are offering our subsidised spaces to projects that reflect our mission and values.

We will also ask for your details so that we can report back to our funders on the types of artists and projects we have supported.

Once your support request has been approved, you will be able to book spaces we judge to be suitable for your project. If you have any questions or your needs change please get in touch.

How much does it cost to use this space?

Our subsidized rehearsal spaces have different hire price options which are between £45 and £100 for 8-hours of use of the space. Please select the price that feels right to you upon booking.

Where are the rooms located?

We have rehearsal & RnD rooms available at both the Albany and at Deptford Lounge – please ensure you double check the venue when making a booking!

When can I book?

Slots will become available 3 weeks in advance (subject to availability) and can be booked until 1 week before the booking date.

Need to book a space further in advance or book a space for a group rehearsal? Get in touch with our Hires Team who can advise on availability & rates. Please note that in this instance our standard hire rates will apply.

How often is space available?

Availability of these spaces is subject to other building activities. Occasionally the buildings will be closed on bank holidays and during our annual Christmas closure period, but we’ll always give you a heads up if this is happening.
