FAQs:

How do I book?

You must have an active Creative Communities Membership in order to book the space. Don’t have one yet? Sign up now!

How much does it cost to use this space?

Per day: £8.50 standard price; £5 pay-a-bit-less; £10 pay-a-bit-more + Annual Membership

When can I book?

Slots will become available five days in advance, and you can book right up to the day itself (subject to availability).

How often is space available?

Our current hours are Monday-Friday, 9am to 6pm. Occasionally the building will be closed on bank holidays and during our annual Christmas closure period, but we’ll always give you a heads up if this is happening.

What do the different prices get me? What do you mean by 'pay-a-bit-less' and 'pay-a-bit-more'?

We want this space to remain as accessible as possible to everyone.

Our standard day rate for this space is £8.50, but if you’re having a difficult budget day or otherwise identify as low/no-income you have the option to ‘pay-a-bit-less’ when booking this space.

Similarly, if you’re having a good budget day and want to pay it forward, our ‘pay-a-bit-more’ pricing option gives you the opportunity to help us subsidise the lower-booking price.

I have a promo code for Queer Coworking Fridays, how do I use it?

That’s great! Select any Friday in June from the list of dates on the right hand side (or at the bottom of the page on mobile) and you will be prompted to enter your code.

If you would like access to the promo code, please email us workspace@thealbany.org.uk or DM us on Instagram @thealbanyse8.
